ABOUT
Em Stacey is a hair, makeup and SFX artist based in Naarm, Melbourne.
Her broad experience spans film, tv, music videos, commercials and stills photography. In 2023, she completed her first feature length film as the Hair and Makeup Designer for ‘Strange Creatures’.
Emily has worked as the Hair and Makeup Designer for a number of nominated and award winning short films, most recently creating a silicone pregnant belly for Pernell Marsden’s ‘The Meaningless Daydreams of Augie and Celeste.’

With a penchant for films of the 80’s and 90’s, she has a strong desire to create memorable and interesting characters. She mines references from films, as well is drawn to the details and quirks of people in daily life.
Specialising in prosthetic makeup as well as natural tv makeup, she offers the versatility to create whatever look you need.
Emily is passionate about working on projects with diverse cast and crew. Always looking to grow, she is continually up-skilling and updating her kit to ensure it’s inclusive to anyone who sits in the chair.
She is also a proud member of the creative collective The One Stop Art Shop.
